MUSIC

The music of Argentine Tango is rich in nature combining elements of piano, violion and of course
the bandoneon. Due to the history of Argentina and its immigrants back during the turn of the 19th
century, the music is like a melting pot of all this cultures coming together. As far as dancing goes
when it comes to Argentine Tango, its really a 'to each their own'. For me personally I like my Tango
music to be emotional and moody. Therefore I find myself more drawn to the works of Osvaldo Pugliese
and Astor Piazzolla. With the new age electronica music I don't have a personal favourite but rather
favourites songs between Gotan Project, Tanghetto and Otros Aires. For the more conservative
Milonguero side of me, I enjoy Roberto Biagi which is like classical Argentine Tango with a bite to it or
the ease and Miguel Calo's music. But I'm not that picky to be honest... I like it all really. :)
